Job Description

A school district in Mercedes, TX, seeks two full-time School Psychologists for the current school year. These are 37.5-hour contract positions serving K-12 students. Candidates will support a school with diagnostic services currently provided on-site, focusing on psychological assessment and related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators regarding student needs
• Provide consultation on behavioral and learning interventions
• Support development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in meetings and case discussions as required

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Ability to interpret and apply psychological testing results
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required
