Job Title: Marketing and Engagement Coordinator

Location: Kinnelon Public Library, Kinnelon, NJ

Position Type: Part-time

About Us: The mission of the Kinnelon Public Library is to provide equitable access to information, technology and cultural enrichment while promoting literacy, learning and community engagement.

Position Overview: The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator will help build connections, develop partnerships with community leaders and organizations, and promote library programs, services and resources to create awareness and engagement with the library.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing plans to promote library events, programs, and services.
• Content Creation: Design and produce engaging promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
• Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to enhance the librarys presence in the community.
• Event Promotion: Coordinate and promote special events, programs, and initiatives to increase participation and attendance.
• Social Media Management: Manage and update the librarys social media profiles, and interact with followers to increase engagement.
• Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing and outreach efforts to assess effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with marketing and community engagement preferably in a library or non-profit setting: employing effective marketing strategies and developing social media content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively, innovatively, strategically, and proactively.

Salary: Salary range of $21-$25 per hour depending on experience.
