Sign-on Bonus up to $15,000. We\nare seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join\nour maintenance team in Columbus, TX. This role is essential to ensuring the\nsafety, reliability, and performance of our light aircraft fleet. The ideal\ncandidate is a proactive problem-solver with a commitment to excellence in\naviation maintenance.

Location\n& Schedule: Columbus, TX. Schedule 7 & 7. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or\nsixty (60) miles from the base (whichever is greater) of the candidate's\nresidence. Travel between bases is required

Key\nResponsibilities:

• Perform\nscheduled and unscheduled maintenance on light aircraft to ensure airworthiness\nand compliance with FAA regulations.

• \n\nDiagnose\nand repair mechanical and avionics issues, including sheet metal repair and\navionics troubleshooting/repair.

• \n\nMaintain\ndetailed maintenance records and documentation as required by the FAA and\ncompany policies.

• \n\nWork\ncollaboratively with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize\naircraft performance.

• \n\nTravel\nfrequently, sometimes on short notice, to provide maintenance support during\nscheduled hitches.

• \n\nPerform\nmaintenance tasks during night shifts as dictated by operational requirements.

Requirements:

• High\nSchool diploma or equivalent.

• \n\nFAA\nMechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

• \n\nAt\nleast 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic performing maintenance on\nlight aircraft.

• \n\nBasic\ncommunication and computer skills.

• \n\nExperience\nin sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair is highly\ndesirable.

• \n\nMust\nbe able to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity\nexam (strength and flexibility assessment, lifting up to 100 pounds), drug\nscreening, and background check.
