As a Security Professional – Utilities Site - Overnight Shift in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a utilities location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This is a primarily driving post, where you will navigate the site to monitor access points and respond promptly to any situations that arise. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter of utility locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed for security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
  • Assist visitors and employees with general inquiries and provide directions within the utility location as needed.
  • Follow all post orders and site-specific instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
