Location: Harrisburg, PA (Local Only – 1st Day Onsite / Mostly Remote)

Contract Duration: Until 06/30/2026

Rate: $31/hr W2 (All Inclusive) or $33/hr 1099/C2C

Job Overview

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s PennDOT division is seeking an experienced QA Tester with at least 4 years in Agile software testing and 3 years of iOS mobile testing experience. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills and candidates must be local to the Harrisburg, PA area for occasional onsite work and first-day equipment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage product, system, unit, load, and network tests in an Agile environment.



• Collaborate with Test and Application Teams to plan and execute testing activities.



• Define product test plans, acceptance criteria, and maintain testing standards.



• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.



• Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items.



• Maintain and update release installation procedures.



• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers.

Required Skills

• 
  4+ years Agile method software testing experience.



• 
  3+ years iOS mobile testing experience.



• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.



• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study (Highly Desired).

Additional Details

• 
  Interview Type: Preferably in-person at The Keystone Building, Harrisburg, PA (may consider virtual Teams interview).



• 
  Onsite Requirements: Must report onsite Day 1 for badging and equipment pickup.



• 
  Work Arrangement: Mostly remote; possible 1 day/month onsite.



• 
  Parking: Metered street parking; costs not covered by PennDOT.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $31.00 per hour
