Would you like to help accelerate cloud computing adoption at the Enterprise level? Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) by facilitating relationships with U.S. Intelligence and Defense organizations that are reinventing their IT strategy with AWS cloud computing? Do you have the writing and story-telling skills, public sector proposal experience, and the technical background necessary to help further establish and differentiate Amazon as the leading cloud provider?
As a member of the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Proposal Writer team, you will be challenged to be creative, think big, and educate our customers on how they can use the AWS Cloud to address their requirements. You will curate, grow, and update a library of existing content; research and document the ever-evolving internal AWS information; and coordinate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) on solutions. Ultimately, you will research, draft, and deliver content for responses to RFxs, whitepapers, and related inquiries from both customers and partners. You will ensure our content is persuasive, clear, concise, innovative, and compliant. As a collaborative team member, you will work effectively across all levels of AWS as you research and write critical content under tight, customer-driven timelines. You will proactively engage with diverse AWS stakeholders to gather, organize, and synthesize content for RFx responses.
You should be an excellent writer with the ability to convey complex ideas and information in easy-to-read, easy-to-follow, customer-focused narratives. You must be able to understand RFx requirements, synthesize technical discussions, and incorporate existing content in developing new content.
Candidates should be comfortable creating documents that meet compliance requirements, align with sales objectives, provide clear technical and non-technical information, and encourage government customers to adopt AWS Cloud.
We deliver high-quality, persuasive content: we are WWPS's writing experts and, as such, create clear, compliant, and compelling proposals and documentation. We represent our customers in text: we advocate for customers with every sentence, using writing best practices and business judgment to create content that works backwards from customer priorities. We elevate deliverables: we define and continuously improve proposal writing best practices, both for external customers through deliverables and internal customers through training, reviews, critique, and new content. We think long term: we create content that is best suited and tailored for an individual customer while also considering how to reuse and scale that content in the future.
