About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and growth of the business. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for driving financial plans that support the company's expansion across various channels. This includes maintaining strong contribution margins, delivering insightful financial reporting, and managing budgets that align with growth initiatives. The CFO will also lead capital raising efforts, evaluate strategic acquisitions, and ensure the financial health of the company through effective cash flow management. A strong background in growth-stage environments, experience with manufacturing operations, and a proven track record in scaling consumer products businesses are essential for this role. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a combination of large-company training and experience in growth-stage consumer brands. The role requires a leader with an MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree, and at least 20 years' of progressive finance leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a CFO or senior finance executive role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial dynamics in manufacturing, experience in raising capital, and a strong background in building and leading high-performing finance teams. Proficiency in financial planning tools, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms is necessary, as is the ability to communicate effectively with boards and investors. While not mandatory, experience in baby or infant products, nutrition, or related consumer health categories, as well as knowledge of FDA regulations, is considered a plus.
