About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare organization. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for guiding financial strategy, compliance, and operations to support high-quality community care. This executive role involves developing and executing financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission, leading the annual budget and long-term financial planning process, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will also oversee financial operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with financial regulations, particularly those related to HRSA. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or CPA preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a healthcare or nonprofit setting. The role requires expertise in healthcare financing, billing, and compliance, as well as proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and grant management. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is a commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and continuous professional development. The CFO will also be responsible for managing the finance team, mentoring staff, and ensuring the effective and compliant use of grant funds.
