About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead its financial strategy, ensuring growth and long-term sustainability. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Team, shaping and driving both short and long-term financial strategies. This role requires a visionary leader with a strategic and growth-oriented mindset, capable of evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives and benchmarking performance. The CFO will also be responsible for overseeing the integrity of financial reporting, financial management, and compliance, as well as guiding the company's investment strategy and maintaining strong relationships with equity partners and rating agencies. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a CPA, MBA, or related advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' of experience is required, with a background in for-profit or not-for-profit senior living, luxury hospitality, or residential real estate. The CFO must be a role model for the company's core values, including inclusivity, resilience, boldness, and impact. Essential skills include excellent communication, the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, and a proven track record in negotiation and financial management. Experience with a savvy Board Investment Committee, overseeing investment management, and conducting due diligence for new developments and acquisitions is highly valued.
