We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saratoga Springs, New York. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with client goals. This position involves working closely with clients to provide comprehensive financial management and support.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage accurate financial statements for client organizations.
• Develop and oversee strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Ensure proper segregation of costs to maintain compliance and financial integrity.
• Act as the primary liaison with banks, insurance providers, and external auditors.
• Serve as a trusted partner resource to guide clients in all areas of financial management.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks in alignment with client-specific requirements.
• Conduct accounting duties according to client-defined scopes of work.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
• Support clients with financial data analysis to inform business decisions.
• Carry out other accounting-related tasks as assigned.• Proven experience with month-end close procedures.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and practices.
• Familiarity with conducting financial statement audits.
• Expertise in account reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in recording and managing journal entries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to adapt and manage multiple client-specific requirements.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
